We moved the show about 40 miles east to the town of Scottsboro Al. Smaller crowds this time due to the rainy and cold weather , but still about 150 people showed up. (I even received a morning call from the desk clerk of the hotel asking if she could have an antenna) The station was nice enough to send out a couple of people to assist with the event.
Most people needed long range antennas like the C2 and the C4, not only due to the difficulty of receiving CH48 at 40 miles, but also because may of the residents get their television reception from Chattanooga, 50 miles in the opposite direction. Now we need to fill the propane tanks and drive 7 hours to tomorrow’s event in Albany GA.
